Asheville Buncombe Adult Soccer Association
ABASA is Asheville’s premier soccer league. The volunteer-run nonprofit coordinates nearly 2,000 soccer players each year, making it the second largest league in the state! They offer full fall and spring seasons, with a shortened summer league June–August. Each division ranges in skill and availability. Connect with the captains and leagues that interest you.

Asheville Hockey offers both youth and adult inline hockey leagues. Join the Asheville, Blue Ridge, or Carolina Divisions. New players must register with AAU and attend an evaluation to be eligible to play. Adult players ages 16+.
Asheville Parks & Recreation
The City of Asheville’s athletic programs provide wholesome recreational opportunities for residents of all ages and skill levels. Enhance your health and wellbeing while improving your sportsmanship. Parks & Rec programs also impact our community’s social and economic wellness.

Asheville Racquet Club
ARC has something for everyone, along with a community of amazing members that only make the experience better. Two locations offer a variety of fitness, aquatics, lessons, and team play for members of all ages. Childcare is available for children 6 weeks–13 years.

Asheville Rugby Football Club
Come see what rugby is all about and why it’s the fastest growing sport in the U.S. The Asheville Rugby Football Club meets twice a week through the season in Carrier Park. Founded in 1983, this competitive club is a member of Division III of USA Rugby. No experience is needed or expected.

Asheville Sport & Social Club
Do you enjoy playing sports on workday evenings or weekends and socializing with new friends that could last a lifetime? The ASSC could be a great fit for you! In addition to the parties after the games, they organize exclusive social events and tournaments. Join an existing team, start your own team, or be a free agent. Ages 21+.

Asheville Ultimate Club
Take an opportunity to learn, play, and teach spirited Ultimate Frisbee in the greater Asheville area! Since its start in 1994, AUC has become a registered nonprofit and created sustainable, multi-seasonal youth and adult leagues. Learn more about tournaments, club play, pickup games, and “Goaltimate” Frisbee.
WNC Disc Golf Association
The primary objective of this rapidly growing nonprofit organization is the promotion and development of disc golf across Western North Carolina. Join a diverse group of individuals and families who volunteer to promote the sport that they love. End-of-year Club Championship Tournaments end with a renewal party where the next year’s discs and tags are issued.
YMCA of Western North Carolina
Get active, ignite your competitive side, and have a great time—all for the benefit of a healthier lifestyle! The YMCA offers friendly competition in a competitive environment through several recreational sports. These programs supplement the Y’s additional activities of cycling, hiking, running, swimming, wall climbing, and more.
