Who: Benefiting the Transylvania County Schools Giving Closet. Through their programs, every student is given the opportunity for a safe and healthy day—both inside the classroom and out.
Students in each of the nine Transylvania County Schools experience a lack of basic needs—sometimes for a day, other times on a consistent basis. To help students meet those needs, each school maintains a “Giving Closet” filled with supplies.

Weaverville’s Music on Main
When: June 22, 2019, 5:00–9:00PM
Where: 30 South Main Street, Weaverville
What: Weaverville’s Music on Main is an open-air concert featuring three powerful bands, each with a distinct style and sound. 5J Barrow, a dynamic folk/rock duo from New York, will open the show. They will be followed by Asheville’s Drayton & The Dreamboats, performing a well-crafted mix of swing tunes, latin numbers, and vocal ballads from the golden age of radio. In addition to music, you can enjoy food, drink, kids activities, and booths. Local Main Street restaurants will also be open all evening. Beverly-Hanks is a Community Sponsor and will have a booth at the event. Come by and say hello!
