It’s Beginning To Get Spooky

This is a fun time of the year for everyone no matter how old. When else is it socially acceptable to dress up in costumes ranging from cute to bawdy. Several of the region’s neighborhoods are famous for their Halloween activities. Here are a few of the most popular.

Waynesville – “Treats On The Streets”

Enjoy All Hallows Eve among the store fronts of downtown Waynesville. Participating merchants will open their doors for trick-or-treaters to create a safe and fun adventure. Costumed children and their parents can stroll the sidewalks in search of delicious candy and special treats. The Waynesville Fire & Police Departments and First Baptist Church join in the fun. Hendersonville – Trick or Treat Street

It’s time once again for one of our favorite downtown traditions, the annual Hendersonville Trick or Treat Street celebration! Each year downtown merchants and residents combine to make Main Street the community destination for a fun and safe trick or treating experience! We hope you’ll join us for a ghoulish good time in Historic Downtown Hendersonville, October 31st, 2014; event registration and trick or treating with downtown merchants begins @ 5:00 pm and the Monster Mash dance party runs through 7:30 pm. West Asheville

Every year thousands of people come to West Asheville’s Vermont Avenue to experience a memorable and really fun Halloween with their family and friends. Especially a place where kids can be kids and not worry about zipping in and out of traffic. More information.
