Job Description:

Asheville’s most successful real estate firm seeks a creative Graphic Designer with experience in both print and electronic media. We’re looking for someone who can take direction from written or oral communication and convert it seamlessly into images, layouts, and other designs. The successful candidate should have an intimate understanding of how to support a firm’s overall objectives from within its marketing department. You’ll excel at this position if you’re able to balance the goals of the firm and other stakeholders, including agents and homeowners.

We work in a fast-paced environment, so the ideal Graphic Designer will be able to hit the ground running. Applicants with a diverse portfolio and specific experience working with digital media will be given prime consideration.

It’s possible for this position to be configured as either a part- or full-time opportunity for the right candidate. Some schedule and in-office or remote flexibility possible.

Education and Training:

Any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described. A typical qualifying background would include a bachelor’s degree in design, marketing, or a related discipline. Extensive experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, specifically with mockups, web design, and multimedia presentations. Working knowledge of HTML is a significant benefit. Excellent communication skills and the ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients will be critical to success.

Experience:

Progressively responsible experience in a professional setting with both traditional and digital design responsibilities. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced work environment that strives for work-life balance.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  4. Professional-level organization.

  6. Working knowledge of design, print, and digital media operations.
  7. Aptitude in office productivity software such as Microsoft Office or Google Drive.
