Gaia chose to live in Asheville because of the lifestyle it offered.
I know a lot about moving! I was born in Italy but moved to France as a young teenager. A few years later, I left France to attend college in Sarasota, Florida, where I graduated from New College of Florida with a B.A. in International Relations and Economics. I settled in Sarasota where I worked as a Realtor with Damon, my husband, for 12 years. In ’08, a job offer took us and our two kids back to France, where we lived for 5 years. In Provence, we managed a vacation resort and ran a vegan B&B. When the time came to move again, we did a lot of research and chose Asheville for its amazing outdoors, surrounding beauty and eclectic lifestyle.
When I’m not helping clients fulfill their real estate dreams, you’ll find me enjoying the outdoors – usually hiking in Dupont State Forest, biking in Bent Creek, or working on my golf game.
I have two children, ages 12 and 11 and thanks to them, I understand the importance of empowering families with the knowledge they need to choose a neighborhood and school district that is right for them.
I am an animal lover and advocate, and never miss the chance to walk my labrador and maltese around the trails in Biltmore Park, the neighborhood where I live, work and play.
I am a Certified Vegetarian and Vegan Nutrition Consultant, an avid gardener, dedicated HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) fitness enthusiast and a two-time graduate of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course.
My favorite indoor pastimes are cooking up vegan meals with my family and making time for my budding meditation practice.
Service to the community and continued personal growth are important to me and make my life fun. I belong to Rotary International (President-nominee), Toastmasters International, Congregation Beth Ha Tephila (Board of Trustees), the Asheville Vegan Society, Asheville Insight Meditation. I also volunteer on several committees and with two PTAs in Roberson District.
