MEET MARIE MORRIS

Marie Morris brings vision to those who want to purchase their perfect home.

Meet Marie Morris, the agent for this week's WLOS Home of the Week.Marie Morris worked 25 years in the legal/human resources arena prior to becoming a licensed real estate broker in 2004. This experience made her a seasoned multi-tasker with a high level of attention to detail. But it’s her keen interest in art and experience remodeling three personal homes (including a Victorian flat in San Francisco) that inspires her vision in real estate.

For 12 very productive and successful years, Marie has employed her vision to help others find their dream in Western North Carolina as she and her husband have. Marie stands ready to provide tireless, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic assistance that you will come to appreciate (with a sense of humor on the side)!

More about Marie Morris

Marie grew up in McDowell County and returned to Western North Carolina in 2003 after 16 years in San Francisco. She attended Appalachian State University, then graduated from Peace College in Raleigh with an associate degree in business. She later studied art at Georgia State University.

Marie and her husband are both artists. She has dabbled in a variety of creative arenas, but currently enjoys working with clay and mixed media. She is also a gardener, an occasional golfer, and is in love with her three children: Jones, Junebug, and Jiggles (their cats)! Her husband, Bill Sproul, has a business designing and fabricating furniture.

In addition to earning her real estate license, Marie has since earned her Accredited Buyer Representative, Accredited Luxury Home Specialist, and NAR GREEN designations. Marie was a Top Producer in her Beverly-Hanks office for 2007–2012. She also received the “Raving Fans” award in 2009 and 2012.
