Steve has a history of local and regional involvement in real estate boards and community commissions, including serving as Region 9 Regional Vice President for the NC Association of Realtors, Region 9 RPAC Trustee, President of the Hendersonville Board of Realtors, and member of the NC Association of Realtors Executive Committee, National Association of Realtors, North Carolina Association of Realtors, and Asheville Board of Realtors. Locally, he has also served as Chair of the Henderson County Planning Board, member of the Henderson County Board of Equalization and Review Committee, Chair Elect for the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce (2015), member of the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Chair of the Governmental Affairs Committee, and past member of the Mills River Planning Board.

Steve is certified as a Fine Homes Specialist and Relocation Specialist. Notably, he was named the 2006 and 2007 Hendersonville Board of Realtors “Realtor of the Year.” Steve is also very involved in his church as Chair of the Staff Parish Pastor Committee, past Chair of the Finance Committee, and a member of the choir.
