Beverly-Hanks Presents Holiday Donation to Haywood Habitat for Humanity
The local real estate firm donated $5,000 to charity during their annual holiday office party.
December 10, 2019, Asheville, NC—On Thursday, December 5, 2019, the Waynesville office of Beverly-Hanks, REALTORSⓇ presented a check for $5,000 to Haywood Habitat for Humanity. The office raised the funds through a combination of individual agent gifts and contributions from the firm’s Waynesville agent charity fund.
“Habitat for Humanity is an incredible organization that provides pathways to affordable homeownership,” said Brian Cagle, Vice President-Managing Broker of Beverly-Hanks’ Waynesville office. “We are so pleased to help them with the first home in the Chestnut Park community.”
The office presented to the check to representatives of Haywood HFH during their annual holiday party. The office has a tradition of choosing a local holiday gift recipient each year. This year, agents voted to award Haywood HFH with the funds. The goal was to collect 50 contributions of $100 donations from each of the agents in the office.
Announced in April 2019, Haywood HFH is planning a 10-home affordable housing development in Waynesville’s Chestnut Park neighborhood. The development will adjoin a small town park and will include a greenway through the park.
