The East Asheville Center is part of the complex housing the East Asheville Branch Library and a fire station. Outside the center is a large playground, picnic tables, grills and a basketball court. Charlie Bullman Park, named after an Asheville legend in youth sports, features two lighted ballfields, concession and restrooms. Haw Creek Park, a neighborhood park featuring wooded natural areas, trails, a gazebo, restrooms, and a picnic shelter.
