Amy Congdon

As VP for Beverly-Hanks Mortgage Services, Amy is indispensably involved in the day to day operations of the mortgage company. She spends her days making sure the experience of every Borrower and Business Partner is as smooth and efficient as possible. She assists Owner and President Amy Hanks in making Beverly-Hanks Mortgage Services, Inc. a valuable and reliable resource to its community and a fun and exciting workplace. Amy is an Asheville native. She attended North Buncombe High School and earned her Bachelor's Degree from Salem College. She entered the mortgage business in 1997 as an assistant in the origination department of a local regional bank. She then joined a local lender where she first met and partnered with Amy Hanks in 2000. Since that time, she has worked as a Processor, an Underwriter, Loan Officer, Operations Manager, Sales Manager and Manager of Closing/Post Closing. Amy became part of the BHMS team in April 2014 and helped them transition from a Broker to an approved Lender in the state of North Carolina. She remains active with her local Mortgage Bankers Association for which she served as President in 2009. She is also active at a state level with Mortgage Bankers Association of the Carolinas.

Extremely active with her church in a variety of functions, Amy now lives in Hendersonville with her husband, two spoiled dogs and one mean cat.
