Experience
I have been a full time Real Estate professional since 2005. I love my job and I'm dedicated to ensuring that Beverly Hanks agents provide the best possible service to each client and customer. That's why at Beverly-Hanks, REALTORS® our Managing Brokers no longer actively market and sell real estate. I'm here for one purpose -- to support our broker associates as they work to best assist you. If I can ever be of assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
About Me
I hale from a true Southern background, the quintessentially Southern city of Charleston, South Carolina. I graduated from the University of the South (Sewanee) in 1988 and continue to make spirited use of that liberal arts education. As a child, I spent many summers in Asheville where I learned to treasure the beauty of the mountains and this vibrant community. Since 1995 Asheville has been home to my husband Todd and I, along with our children Thames (who now lives in Jackson, Mississippi with her husband, Ty and teaches 4th grade) and Miller (a student at Ole Miss), and our precious labradoodle, Charlie. I feel entirely at home here in the North Carolina Mountains (despite the lack of beaches), and I'll make sure that you feel the very same way about this special place.
Outside of my career, I maintain a strong commitment to my community. I am active in my church, Grace Episcopal Church and I volunteer with Room in the Inn, a mobile shelter for homeless women in Asheville and Steadfast House another local homeless shelter. I have also traveled to Haiti with the local group, Consider Haiti and I volunteer regularly to help raise money for their work in Haiti. I enjoy relaxing with my family and gardening, reading, cooking or hiking in these mountains that I am so fortunate to call home.
